These Terms govern your use of the BetterBod mobile app and website. By using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. No Guaranteed Results (Critical Clause)

BetterBod does NOT guarantee:

  • Weight loss
  • Health improvements
  • Body changes
  • Accurate predictions
  • Correct nutritional outcomes

All analytics, forecasts, and AI simulations are informational only.

2. AI Body Prediction Disclaimer

AI predictions:

  • Are approximate
  • May be inaccurate or unrealistic
  • Do NOT represent medical advice
  • MUST NOT be used to make health decisions
  • Are conceptual illustrations only

You acknowledge that AI outputs may contain errors.

3. Not a Medical Service

BetterBod does not provide:

  • Medical advice
  • Medical diagnosis
  • Medical treatment
  • Professional coaching or dietitian guidance

Always consult a licensed professional for health-related questions.

4. Health & Safety Warning

You must use the app responsibly.

Do NOT engage in:

  • Extreme diets
  • Excessive exercise
  • Unsafe challenge participation

Stop using the app and consult a professional if you feel unwell.

5. Challenge Safety

Challenges may involve physical activity. Participate ONLY within your ability. You accept all risks.

BetterBod is not liable for injuries, near-misses, or adverse outcomes.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BetterBod and Alexma ApS disclaim liability for:

  • Personal injury
  • Health changes
  • Emotional or psychological effects
  • Decisions made based on AI or analytics
  • Data loss
  • Lost profits
  • Indirect or consequential damages

7. Subscriptions & Payments

Subscriptions are billed via:

  • Apple App Store
  • Google Play Store

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled through your app store settings.

No refunds outside store policy.

8. Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

  • Reverse-engineer the app
  • Misuse AI features
  • Upload explicit or illegal content
  • Use the app for medical triage
  • Attempt to manipulate leaderboard or HP systems

9. Arbitration & No Class Action (U.S. Users)

Any dispute must be resolved through binding arbitration. You waive the right to:

  • Join a class action
  • Seek class-wide relief

10. Governing Law

EU/International: Danish law

U.S. users: Delaware law (neutral, tech-friendly)
